Lunch Program Rules

    • The Home and School Association offers lunch five days a week. The menu for each month is included in the monthly school calendar and is posted on the school website www.saintfrancisxavierschool.com. Names of parents who will serve lunch each month are also included.
    • Teachers collect lunch money and forward it to the Home and School Food Program Bookkeeper who keeps a lunch money account for each child.
      • Complete an order form for each child.
      • Make certain that your order is correct. No changes will be made to the order once the order is placed.
      • Write the student's first and last name on each line where indicated. This will serve as the student's ticket to receive the food.
      • Total the cost of the monthly order and send a check for that amount when the order form is returned. Orders for all your children and one check for their total amount may be sent in one envelope. Make checks payable to SFX Home and School Association. DO NOT SEND CASH!.
      • Please return the order form by the deadline date. This is essential to assure adequate food is purchased. Food will be purchased as ordered. No extra food will be available.
      • Teachers will accept lunch money and orders only when it is sent in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the child's name, grade and marked "FOOD PROGRAM".
      • Deadline for returning form and money is noted on order form. No orders will be accepted after 8:00 a.m. on the day of the deadline. No exceptions, please.

If there are any questions or concerns please contact Chairperson of the Food Program.

Forgotten Lunches
If a parent remembers he/she may bring a forgotten lunch to the office and it will be sent to the child. As a courtesy to other students, please try not to bring restaurant food to school. Our students are good about sharing lunches with those who are without.

Snacks
Students are encouraged to bring nutritious snacks that are convenient to eat in the classroom, such as fruits, peanut butter or cheese crackers, popcorn, yogurt cartons, etc.
