A. Provisions for Spiritual and Moral Needs

1. To provide a well-planned religious instruction program in each grade.
2. To maintain an atmosphere conducive to the development of Christian values that will influence the student throughout life.
3. To provide for regular participation in liturgical and para-liturgical celebrations.
4. To encourage participation in all aspects of Parish Life.
5. To enhance relationships between students in the Parish School of Religion and the Parish School.

B. Provisions for Intellectual Needs

1. To emphasize the mastery of basic skills.
2. To individualize our programs to better accommodate each person's capacity for learning.
3. To create a learning environment which stimulates the development of an inquiring mind.
4. To evaluate each student's growth and achievement regularly
5. To work with parents of primary grade children to ensure optimum school readiness.
6. To provide information, assessment and referrals for students with possible learning or emotional disorders.

C. Provisions for Emotional Growth

1. To assist each student in the development of a good self-image.
2. To provide activities within the school that give the students opportunities to succeed.
3. To establish an atmosphere that provides a feeling of security at school.
4. To recognize the differences between children and accept children as they are.
5. To acknowledge effort and work consistent with ability.
6. To maintain discipline in such a manner that students understand that freedom involves responsibility and that self control is a necessary attribute for personal development.
7. To proved support for students and parents experiencing single parenthood

D. Provisions for Social and Cultural Needs

1. To develop citizens who will understand and perpetuate the basic values of our democracy and will carry with them a deep sense of loyalty and pride in the United States of America.
2. To provide opportunities for children to observer democratic living in the school community.
3. To encourage a strong sense of belonging to the school and community.
4. To form a sense of social awareness and responsibility in all areas of life, so as to enable the student to achieve future goals beyond elementary school.
5. To establish a sense of civic responsibility through a good understanding of our social institutions and their purposes and contributions.
6. To instill a sense of acceptance and appreciation of all cultures.
7. To furnish opportunities for aesthetic development through cultural activities supplementary to the regular curriculum.
8. To encourage the family to participate in school functions, to help with school projects and to serve as resources.

E. Provisions for Physical Needs

1. To maintain a well-balanced program of physical fitness.
2. To provide organized sports activities appropriate for each grade level.

5. To provide screening, as necessary, to protect and encourage healthy physical development.
